Ceremony Consulting
After reading through our site, you have decided that having a good friend or close family member officiate your wedding is your definite plan. Now, it may seem like an easy task, but there is a lot more to officiating a wedding than meets the eye. With our professional wedding officiant consultant, your personal officiant will benefit from the experience gained through watching and presiding over 1,500 weddings ranging from a two person elopement up to weddings with over 300 guests.
Ceremony Consultant Package I: 30 minutes of consulting time via Skype, Zoom Conferencing, email, phone and/or in person (local to my office). Ask me anything about officiating ceremonies or everything about your wedding from planning a rehearsal dinner to choosing vendors. Fee: $100
Ceremony Consultant Package II: Same as above but includes assistance with writing the ceremony. As the ghost writer, I would send you my couples questionnaire as well as one for your selected officiant to fill out. Using this information, plus our one hour of time (noted above), I will craft your wedding ceremony and send you a copy within two weeks. From there, you and your officiant can make changes as you see fit.
Fee: $495
Ceremony Consultant Package III (only available in Monterey County, California): Same as above but you can also schedule me to attend the wedding ceremony. I would arrive a half hour prior and stay through the signing of the wedding license. Adds $75 to the above package (if you need me at the rehearsal as well, an additional $75 fee).
If your wedding is taking place outside of Monterey County and you are looking at Package III, I can certainly refer you to some excellent professional wedding officiants through the International Association of Professional Wedding Officiants who may be of assistance.
